Rowland is one of Namibia’s more notorious economists. He is a regular in Namibian and regional print, broadcast and digital media. He has presented to and worked with most of the large corporates in the country and has worked with Namibia’s core financial ministries, offices and agencies, providing advice to various ministers and high level advisors. He is a fellow of the Institute for Public Policy Research, a consulting technical expert to the International Monetary Fund on financial stability and stress testing, serves on various boards. He is also a graduate of the US State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Programme to the United States and a Co-Founder for Cirrus Capital.
Jason Kasuto is founder and managing partner of Monasa Advisory & Associates (Monasa), a Namibian advisory firm specializing in Research, ESG, and Advisory services.
Jason is a socio-economic development expert with over 10 years of extensive experience in this field, advising clients from both public and private sector including Government Institution Pension Fund (GIPF) and Old Mutual Foundation To provide guidance and mentorship to students, Jason founded and chairs the Nedbank Namibia Career Exhibition, the largest student career exposure platform aimed at creating an interactive environment for students to connect with prospective employers. In 2019, Jason was appointed by the President of the Republic of Namibia as a member of the High-Level Panel on the Namibian Economy.
Eric van Zyl
Eric completed his BComm degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 2010. He joined IJG Securities as a research analyst after returning to Namibia in 2014. Eric is currently pursuing the CFA designation while heading up the research team at IJG Securities. Eric is a Namibian with a passion for the outdoors and aims to make a positive contribution to the socio-economic well-being of the nation.
Indileni Nanghonga is a Junior Economist at Simonis Storm Securities, having joined the firm as a Trainee Economist and later served as a Trainee Analyst. Her main duties at Simonis Storm include but not limited to analysis and reporting of macroeconomic data locally, regionally and globally. Nanghonga received her Bachelor of Economics Degree in Economics from Namibia’s University of Science and Technology (NUST). In addition, she did a short course at Udemy and obtained a Certificate in Financial Coaching in 2019. She is also a member of the speech craft at Tarentaal Toastmasters Club and is currently reading for her Bachelor of Honours Degree in Economics at NUST.
Nesdha de Jongh
Nesdha De Jongh is the Group Compliance Manager of Letshego Namibia. He has over 3 years regulator experience being employed at NAMFISA and over 4 years experience in the banking industry (FNB, Nedbank and Letshego). He possess a Post-graduate diploma in Compliance from University of Johannesburg, B.Tech Economics degree (distinction) from University of Science and technology of Namibia, Advance Diploma in Banking Finance and Credit and several certificates from University of Cape Town in Risk Management, Leadership and Business. He is currently pursuing a MDP at University of Stellenbosch.
Jesaya is an investment professional with a passion for social activism, entrepreneurship and human development. He possesses a valuable understanding of the linkages between public, private and civic organisations. Professionally Jesaya has worked in bank treasury management, private equity/venture capital and investment advisory. He has an interest in development economics, investments and deal structuring. He is also a keen angel investor and serves on the board of a number of start-ups. Jesaya is also involved in the leadership of a number of civic organisations aimed at improving the social and economic outcomes of Namibia. These include Physically Active Youth (PAY), I-Inspire Movement, Auas Rotary Club and Namibia Business Angels Network (NABAN).
